Web hosting
What is it?
We can provide hosting space for your web site. All web sites need to "live" somewhere. Large companies have their own PCs and servers on which the website exist. Most smaller companies opt to have someone else to "host" their site for them on dedicated machines that are protected and backed up daily. We buy large amounts of hosting space from some of the biggest hosting companies in the UK.
Reliability is key
Reliability is key in web site hosting. The web site needs to available 24 hours each day, 365 days each year. Virtually every aspect of our web hosting has redundancy (duplication) built in. That way if one component fails, there’s another to take over seamlessly. Our hosting companies even have more than one connection to the Internet in case one set of cables gets dug up!
Our packages
Our standard package includes plenty of space and oodles of traffic/bandwidth per month. We also provide 10 e-mail addresses (and full control over the creation and management of them). Many hosting companies charge extra for common features such as databases and secure areas. We include them as standard – together with the registration of a uk domain name (e.g. yourbusiness.co.uk). The cost starts from only £100 per year.
